Program Topic:  The History of a Family Business

This presentation will include a comprehensive description of a family-run business in its fourth generation, interwoven with unique stories and pictures of an enriched and empowered workforce.  Businesses are often analogous to families, and the unique story of what has happened at this small south-central Iowa steel fabrication company will point to how true that has become.  Since 1907, Johnson Machine Works has been involved in many projects related to the infrastructure of the United States, including structural steel fabrication in and around the Midwest, wastewater treatment equipment that has been shipped across the globe, as well as several other unique and storied projects.  Plus, there will be explosions in the presentation!
